VAL HENDERSON
BROOKLYN, NY

** I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and I used to build missiles for the government. Now I work at Partiful, building brand identity around the act of gathering, celebrating, and connecting. **

When you put your head down and follow the rules, you can end up creating things you never intended: institutions reward obedience, even if it leads to destruction. What happens if we question that authority and make our own path? I've found that eventually, cycles repeat. Even if it looks different it feels the same.

My work sits at the intersection of logic and intuition - taking abstract concepts and shaping them into lived reality.

I'm drawn to big truths, ones that hold through time and perception.

I’ve found that experimenting across mediums is essential to understanding how to direct anything well. You have to know how it feels in your hands first.
